Douglas C. Montgomery in his book, Introducing to Statistical Quality Control, 5th Edition, divide the concept for a company to compete on quality deliberately and strategically to manageable parts called “The Eight Dimension of Quality” by which consumers judge products:
- Performance
- Realibility
- Durability
- Serviceability
- Aesthetics
- Features
- Perceived Quality
- Conformance to Standards
