This animation gives an overview about how The Kutai Kartanegara Bridge, Indonesia, collapse in Novemver 26, 2011. This bridge collapsed while it is in routine maintenance. The traffic was busy on a lane of bridge, while the other lane is closed.

That caused the bridge to lose its balance. Bridge’s rope then broke up in sequence, then the bridge’s body fell into the river. Many people plunged into the river and eventually disappear. Some are found dead.
